I have been fly fishing for carp for many years and it has always been a rewarding experience, carp are both challenging to catch and can be cunning and skittish at times as well. This along with the fact that they can be caught in very shallow water and on the fly makes them a great target. in South Australia they are releasing a Carp herpes virus soon to decimate the population. this is something i am not looking forward to. So This trip was an attempt to get some great footage and memories prior to this plan coming into action.
