A Bird Almost Took Out My FPV Drone!

Today I'm taking my iFlight Nazgul Evoque F7 to Niagara Whirlpool, one of the nicest places in Niagara to capture fall colours! The first signs of autumn are starting to show, so I wanted to get out and see what the area looks like from the air.

We start with a flight using the GoPro Mission 1 Pro onboard, and things get a little too close for comfort when a seagull comes inches away from hitting my drone! After that, I switch things up and fly with the DJI Osmo 360 mounted on the drone to capture a different perspective.

The flights turned out great, but the fall colours aren't quite at their peak yet, so I'll have to come back in a week or two to capture the area again. I also had some signal break-up with my DJI O4 Pro until I remembered to enable manual transmission power in the goggles and select my channel.

Overall, it was a great day of flying, and I can't wait to come back when Niagara's fall colours are at their best!
