Swinging some flies for some spring smallmouth out of the great lakes tributaries. The answer is: Yes, you can definitely swing flies for smallmouth. Is it the most effective method? No. Is it the most fun in my opinion? Yes. Thanks for watching!

Fly Line: 360 grain Scientific Anglers Integrated Skagit line
Leader: 1ft of 25lb Fluoro or Mono, 3 ft of 8-12lb fluoro tippet
