This video contains footage from my weekend up on the Bois Brule River in Douglas County, Wisconsin on April 22-23, 2016. We were going after steelhead (anadromous rainbow trout) but were about a week too late for the spawn itself. I landed one 10 inch rainbow on Friday, but didn't even see any steelhead all weekend. Only a couple other anglers we talked to caught anything. There is also footage from my May 6, 2016 outing on Black Earth Creek. I fished a section right in the town of Mazomanie. A number 4 Panther Martin spinner yielded 3 brown trout - 8, 13, and 22 inches. The 22 inch fish is, as of now, the largest inland brown I have caught. Fish on at 1:34, 8:22, 13:25, and 18:00.
