I always love seeing trout behavior and the beauty of the underwater world, and this footage didn't disappoint! The species in the video are brook trout and rainbow trout, although there are some smaller trout that I wasn't sure of the species.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is how surprised I was by how little the camera affected them, as I was able to get pretty close without scaring them off. Usually I think of trout as pretty skittish, but that is not always the case. I do plan on making some comparison videos to see how they react to different types of line though, because I've always been a believer in clear, thin line. Usually I use 4lb or lighter for my underwater trout strikes videos!
