BACK AT THE WHARF A YEAR LATER
After a year away from the Wharf , I'm finally back on the bank and ready to see what's beneath the surface .
This is a very different kind of carp fishing , right in the heart of Cardiff , surrounded by cranes , city buildings , traffic and the constant hustle and bustle of everyday life .
It's been a full year since I last fished the Wharf , so I was excited to get back and see what had changed , what was still lurking in the depths , and weather I could tempt one of the Wharf's carp onto the bank .
urban carp fishing brings it's own challenges . Finding the fish , working out where they're feeding and putting everything together in an environment surrounded by noise , movement and activity makes every bite feel that little bit more special .
So come along for the session and see what happens when I return the the Wharf after a year away .
Will the carp show up ?
Will the city keep me guessing ?
And most importantly ... will I finally get amongst one of the Wharf's residents ?
