A short session and it didn’t take long before I was into a carp! ????

What should’ve been a straightforward fight quickly turned a bit sketchy when the fish managed to get me tangled around a broken branch in the water and a few lily pad stems. For a moment I thought it was game over! ????

After a bit of careful pressure and a few tense moments, I managed to work it free and finally slide the net underneath it. ????????

Sometimes the scrappy battles are the most enjoyable!
