Autumn is here, temperatures are starting to drop and the carp are becoming harder to tempt - if you can find anywhere to fish that is, as many waterways are completely dried up, or the fish have died.
Doug and I spent 5 hours at a local pond for just a handful of bites, a couple of lost fish early and then pretty well nothing, apart from one nice fish that Doug caught in about knee deep water that was as much a surprise to him as it was to the fish!
