In this episode of Fishing With Steve, you got to decide where the next pike fishing session took place! After asking my viewers whether I should head to a lake or a river for my next session, the votes came in overwhelmingly in favour of river pike fishing. So, I listened and headed back to the river for a session targeting pike using ledgered deadbaits.

River pike fishing presents its own challenges, from choosing the right swims to deciding where to position the baits in the hope of tempting a predatory pike. Join me on the bank for another real-world session of pike fishing in Ireland, where the conditions, tactics and results are never guaranteed.

If you enjoy pike fishing, river pike fishing, deadbait fishing and following the ups and downs of fishing on Irish rivers, make sure to subscribe to Fishing With Steve for more pike fishing adventures, fishing tips and sessions from across Ireland.

Would you have chosen a river or a lake? Let me know in the comments, and keep an eye out for future opportunities to help decide where I fish next!
