Matt Heron hit the water for the 11th Annual Cast Hope Steelhead Tournament on the Trinity River. Matt put his fly fishing skills to work, battling a 28-inch steelhead that put up a serious fight from start to finish.

This trip was about more than just the rod and reel. The entire Cast Hope crew is doing the heavy lifting out there, getting kids on the water and introducing the next generation to fly fishing. We’re stoked to see the work they’re putting in.
