Winter Fly Fishing in a BLIZZARD! (Cinematic)

Joseph @Idaaflyy and Bradley @Funky_fly_guy were preparing to hit the road with our buddy who (CRUSHED this edit by the way) @driftlinemedia and head to the next destination. But before turning away from the river, we saw a honey hole that was open, nobody fishing it! So... we took an hour in this BLIZZARD to nymph it before hitting the road! For our mild winter here in the West, this snowfall was refreshing and stunning to be in the middle of. Despite our frostbitten fingers, it was a very respectable hour of nymph fishing this beautiful run. Many whitefish, some rainbow trout, and a beautiful cutthroat trout, all on small midge patterns with our Cortland Premium Ultra Flourocarbon 5x. We hope you enjoyed this short video of us using some of our new favorite LOOP Tackle setups! The 9 foot 6 inch 5 weight 7X, and the 10 foot 5wt 7X were two awesome rods for this session.
