British Columbia has plenty of excellent lake fishing opportunities. Thanks to @gofishbc, hundreds of lakes are stocked annually. About 50 lakes produce kokanee and their size varies from 1 to 4 pound. What factors determine the productivity of the lakes? How do you pick the lake when you want to go fishing? I took all your questions on this subject from the comment section and asked my friend Mike Ramsay who is the senior lake biologist in the Cariboo region!
