Today you join us at Olivemead Lake, where we had the privilege of witnessing the lake being fully netted.

This water already holds carp well over 40lb, and with what we saw today, they’re only going to get bigger. Hundreds of silver fish were removed, which will massively reduce competition for food and help the carp pack on the weight over the coming seasons.

It’s great to see the behind-the-scenes work that goes into improving a fishery, and Olivemead Lake is definitely one to watch for the future.

The lake also has luxury cabins on site, making it an enjoyable stay every time.
