I tested an oversized hookbait made of a boilie and six tiger nuts, curious to see how carp would react.
They definitely showed interest and tried to eat it—but the bait was too long, and the hook never made it into their mouths.
So, I made a simple change: reduced the number of tiger nuts to four.
And guess what? It worked. The carp got hooked—and I captured the entire moment underwater.
