Bank fishing for summer steelhead is one of our favorite ways to fish the rivers of the Pacific Northwest, and this trip had a little bit of everything. We explore a beautiful tributary, chase wild steelhead, hook into some incredible fish, and have plenty of laughs along the way.

There’s something different about covering water on foot, finding productive steelhead holding water, and hooking a fish from the bank. From beautiful river stretches to exciting battles, this was one of those days where the adventure was every bit as good as the fishing.
