Rocco and I made a trip to our typical stomping grounds and worked most of the usual spots and after feeling like total failures as we were walking back to the truck we decided to try a few casts in a new spot.
All the stars aligned for him on his new GLoomis #fishing
rod with a #shimano Vanford 3000 reel! The #steelhead was a hot mess and ran down river quite a bit before it was outmatched by Rocco and his setup! Was it his fishing ability that sealed the fishes fate or the premium fishing gear or was it all the above? You be the Judge!
