Headed down to my local carp lake for a short evening session. Here I was using the Korda controller float with hook bait of bread Advanta pellets.
The carp were not on the surface due to a slight dip in temperature. This did not faze me too much as when the dusk starts setting in, the carp tend to push round the margins. I set up the controller float with a foot long hair rig tied to a size 8 hook with an anti tangle sleeve on the quick change swivel. This allowed the bait to flick away from the float.
