Mother Nature was working against me today. The ice, the snow and gravity turned a nice cool Winter morning into a ice cold nightmare that kept me and my fishin' ambition from ever reaching the area I wanted to fish for Steelhead.

The first time I got stuck wasn't that scary. It was the second time, sliding backwards down the big hill that had me thanking the lord above for watching out for me... Had the truck slid off the South side of the road/hill I would have tumbled over a steep embankment.

Luckily with the help of a neighbor and my John Deere tractor, we were able to drag the truck out of the ditch with no damage to Big Red. Although I never made it to the Blue Creek area to float beads and my cured eggs, the whole situation left me tuckered and home-bound. :-) There is always next week...
