Every spring the trout start pushing out of Lake Michigan and into the tributary rivers across southeast Wisconsin.

In this video we spend the day chasing spring run fish in the local creeks and rivers. Steelhead are staging in deeper runs and brown trout are moving through the system feeding aggressively. With snowmelt, rising water, and warmer temps, the conditions are perfect to start seeing what the 2026 run has in store.
