A ride down to the Avenue of the Giants and into the Redwoods to find a short drift to do looking for signs of salmon or steelhead. The river was on the drop and was steelhead green color. The water was still pretty high from the recent Thanksgiving storms that brought many inches of rain to the North Coast. No salmon were hooked as we only saw one roller.
