Hooked into a MONSTER steelhead on the centerpin… and lost it. ???? That one's going to haunt me for a while. But the river wasn't done with me yet. A few drifts later, the float went down again, and this time I got my redemption fish to hand.
Fall steelhead fishing on Ontario's Saugeen River. Nothing beats the feeling of a float disappearing and a chrome fish ripping line off the pin.
If you've ever lost "the big one," drop a comment and tell me your story ????
