The 2026 salmon run on the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY has got to be one of the best runs I've ever experienced! With incredible numbers of salmon pushing upriver, the fishing action was cast after cast.
It was one of those days where nearly every cast resulted in another hookup and if you weren't landing salmon you were retying hooks and putting on new leaders. Steady push of kings and cohos running through the river early October!
