After last weeks successful day sessions I'm raring to get back on the lake. The changes I've made to my approach are paying off and I'm confident that I've found a way to help me catch them.
As ever I watch the weather like a hawk noting any changes or trends in air pressure and wind direction so I can predict the best days in the week to be beside the lake. Turning the opportunity's I get into bites and fish on the bank is uppermost in my mind so close attention to how the rig and the lead system is performing and making the necessary changes to improve results is a must if I'm to continue my success.

Reedy fen is a farm reservoir with a good stock of carp. Around 5-6 acres, the margins have extensive reed beds with a thick layer of silk-weed growing down the margin slopes. The deepest part of the lake is 28 feet with 14 feet just a few rod lengths out.
