If you like non-stop action, you're in the right place. This is the full 10-minute footage of the most intense fight of my fishing life: a 39-inch King Salmon that earned me a new personal best! Hooking a fish this size on a fly rod is a true test of patience and gear, and thankfully the camera was rolling the whole time.

Huge thanks to the legendary Tom Layton for guiding me at the Douglaston Salmon Run (DSR) in Pulaski, New York. This fish proves that the New York Salmon River fishery is world-class.
