In this video I travel to the Trossachs Osprey hide to film the local Ospreys. Watch them dive at breakneck speed straight into the water to catch a fish. Although the fish can be more than half their body weight they can carry them for great distances especially when they have young chicks to feed. Watch as they struggle to get out of the water and fly off with the fish. They are amazing birds who visit us in the summer months, raise their chicks and then fly thousands of miles south to Africa or southern Europe for winter. I also compare the Osprey to a formula one racing car. Do you know why? Watch to find out.
