Tom Stokes heads to the very picturesque Orchid Lakes in Oxfordshire to hunt down one of the extremely old dark mirrors that reside in this mature gravel pit.Early Spring can be very unpredictable when it comes to the carps behaviour and in this session it was clearly not going to be easy with the first signs of temperatures reaching into double figures the carp where on the move in search of that spring sunshine making it extremely difficult for Tom to get amongst them but with a number of moves and tactical changes the main group of carp was found in the most unluckily area which makes for a truly eye opening watch.
