Maddy and I love to chase our summer steelhead in December. The lack of pressure they experience due to the cold coupled with the stunning solitude of the rivers they live in draw us to get out fishing as much as possible. It truly can be some of our most enjoyable experiences of the year. This trip provided us with a great opportunity to do some tent camping in some unseasonably warm weather for December, and target some aggressive steelhead on a swung fly with our spey rods. I hope you all enjoy this adventure!
