It's my very first night session, and the aim is to catch a PB carp. This is only my third time out with this setup, so fingers crossed. A lot of people think you need expensive equipment, but my budget carp gear proves otherwise—much of it is from Facebook Marketplace or was gifted by friends and family. This video shows my entire process, from setting up the peg to making my own spod mix recipe for the first time. The real test of carp fishing for beginners is putting all the pieces together. The session went off at night, which was an incredible experience. This is more than just a video about catching a fish; it's about the feeling of doing it all myself, from finding the spot to the final catch. This is what rookie angling is all about on my first night fishing session.
