The Old Man puts in a full 8-hour session on the bank, fishing banana and strawberry boilies alongside the old man's favorite pack bait for carp and smallmouth buffalo. An early spring day in Texas — warm sun, gorgeous conditions, the kind of day that makes you glad you grabbed the rods and headed out.

The fish were a bit hard headed, but the old man stayed patient and kept the rods in the water. By the end of the session the old man may have landed his biggest smallmouth buffalo yet. And if that wasn't enough, the sunset to close out the day was something special.
