Lance Egan's Tungsten Blue Dart Nymph: The Contrast Attractor You NEED to Tie!

In this fly tying tutorial Lance Egan ties his Blue Dart.
You’ve probably seen and/or used my Tungsten Red Dart as it is one of our top sellers, but fewer anglers have fished the Blue Dart ????. This pattern is another verified fish catcher that you should definitely have in your box.  Built on the same chassis as the Red Dart and the Purple Dart, the Blue Dart is a great attractor to try if you want a bug that stands out from the rest.  Not only is it a unique color, but it also has some drastic contrast, which has proven to pique the interest of feeding Trout and Steelhead. If tying your own, I recommend you tie them with 2-3 different bead sizes to accommodate the water depth and speeds you encounter in a typical day on the water. Also, if you don't like to tie, we carry all 3 colors of Darts available in our shop! (Insert link for darts)
