Current Fishing Report & Tactics
What's Working: Trolling flashers paired with either a SpinFish or spinners.
Peak Bite Times: First light is hot! The action fires up again 2 hours before high tide through 1 hour after.
The Gauntlet: These fish are fresh, aggressive, and dodging sea lions, predators, and nets—making for an exciting fight!

Season & Regulations
August & Fall: Fishing the estuary and upriver all month long and straight into autumn.
Fall Quota: The fall run quota kicks off on August 15.
Current Limits: CDFW regulations allow 1 salmon per license through August 15.

What to Expect on Your Trip
The Boat: Fish comfortably from a spacious, stable jet boat with plenty of room for your group.
Location: Launching daily out of Angler's Cove off Requa Road.
What to Bring: Valid fishing license, salmon and steelhead report cards, and a packed lunch.
What to Wear: Dress in layers! Estuary weather changes on a dime.
