On the last day of our 3 day fishing trip, Jim finally catches a fresh chrome winter steelhead. Jim went on to catch another colored up hatchery steelhead that was released.
Lessons learned:
1. Steelhead will sit in still holding water, not just in the moving current.
2. Use a net with a deeper basket if you don't want to accidentally release the fish prematurely.
3. Let's others help with netting. Use the second man to make the job easier.
