Is this the best river campsite on Vancouver Island? Come along with us on another Vancouver Island camping adventure as we head deep into the backcountry to a campsite we've been trying to reach for months.

This is a remote camping vlog from the backroads of Vancouver Island. We arrive earlier than usual and finally manage to get the campsite we've been hoping for. Sitting right beside a beautiful river, the campsite has crystal-clear blue water, thick forest and the kind of peaceful setting that makes exploring the backcountry so rewarding.

With the sun shining and the river running clear, I couldn't resist getting in the water to snorkel with wild steelhead trout. The visibility was incredible, and seeing these fish swimming through the river was one of the highlights of the trip.

We also captured some amazing drone footage of the river and surrounding forest, giving you a completely different view of this remote part of Vancouver Island.
