Join us for a 2-day winter pike fishing session in early January, where we brave freezing temperatures of -3°C to see if it’s actually possible to catch fish in these conditions. We head out fully wrapped up, facing icy winds, frozen fingers, and tough fishing conditions from start to finish.

Over the two days, we fish two different locations and test a variety of pike fishing methods and tactics, changing approaches to find what works in cold weather and winter conditions. From moving swims to switching techniques, this session is all about adapting when the odds are stacked against you.

To keep spirits up in the freezing cold, we also put ourselves through a tinned sardines in olive oil taste test, because winter fishing wouldn’t be complete without a snack ????????
