The first instalment takes us to the fledgling fishery in Dorset, Bugley Pools. A stunning three lake intimate day ticket venue that is both the passion and labour of love of young couple Matt and Abi Chipping.

On a freezing cold January morning, the fishery team carry out a seine netting, on a partially drained down and frozen Kingfisher Pool.

We follow the staff to learn why and how this is done and gain a brief insight into what owning a fishery entails.

Not only do we learn what's under the surface of this fast growing popular venue we also discover how work like this will benefit anglers in sessions to come!
