In this video I learned (the hard way) that although some high mountain lakes become accessible in the summer due to snow melt, mosquitoes make them absolutely horrible to visit. I will have to revisit this idea of doing some high mountain lake fly fishing later in the season after the mosquitoes die off!!

Note: Sorry if you were expecting some fishing... I was expecting it too but I couldn't even get down to the water at what looked like a suitable spot without getting swarmed by mosquitoes. Next time I will seek a lower elevation spot.
