the first session of 2024 carp fish we decided to head down to Millbrook fisherys for matts birthday social. we spent 48 hours trying to catch some of the stunning carp that swim in Millbrook. but with freezing nights and sunny winters days the carp fishing turned out to be a lot harder than it was the year before . but some of the lads did manage to catch some carp. maggots are the choice of hook bait this trip using a Ronnie rig and a mesh pva bag of maggots to go with it fishing up to the islands that are in the middle of Millbrook beautiful lake .
