Went out fishing on a beautiful sunny day, excited to test a new guppie lure with a home made tail. Had high hopes for it, but unfortunately it didn’t swim correctly in the water. After a bit of trial and error, I switched back to my trusted top guppie — and it didn’t disappoint!

The action picked up quickly, and I ended the session with 4 solid pike, all putting up a great fight. The biggest one measured an impressive 81 cm! ????

Overall, an awesome day on the water with plenty of action and a good reminder: sometimes sticking with what you trust pays off.
