A Year on the Grand River Begins…

Join Ray and me for the first chapter of a year-long journey fly fishing Ontario’s legendary Grand River. In this episode, we wade into the cold, clear waters of the upper trout section, where wild brown trout rise to the hatch and every bend holds possibility.

This series will follow the river through all four seasons—starting now with trout in spring, chasing smallmouth bass in the warm summer flows of the middle section, and finally tracking down wild steelhead in the fall as they charge upstream.
