So, this week was a trip to Glemsford Pit 2. It’s controlled by the London Anglers Association and was recently ‘Otter Fenced.’ Well done to John Weddup and co for the fantastic work.
This venue is truly off-grid, as you’ll see in the video. Somehow, I’ve never fished it before, always ending up on Glemsford 1. Wow, it is a rarely fished but absolutely stunning lake. Oddly, it reminds me of the old Epping Forest lakes and Redmire. Lots of hiding places for the fish. Dug for flint in the 1940s.
My target once again was tench. What I caught came as a real surprise.
