Four generations of family history. One small fly shop. And a future tied to the return of wild steelhead.

At the confluence of Oregon's Minam and Wallowa rivers, Grant Richie runs the Minam Store, a fly shop rooted in one of the Pacific Northwest's storied steelhead regions.

Grant's family has lived and worked in the Snake River Basin for generations. Today, he carries that legacy forward through a business shaped by the rhythms of the river and the anglers who come to fish it.

But as wild steelhead returns decline, each season brings new uncertainty.

Through Grant's story, we explore the connection between a family's history, a small business and the wild fish that have helped define a region for generations.

Part of Trout Unlimited's *When Fish Return* film series, this film examines what declining steelhead populations mean for the communities that have grown alongside these rivers.
