The king salmon run is finally starting to heat up on New York's famous Salmon River! After a few slower trips earlier in the season, we finally found some aggressive fish that were willing to eat. Using indicator setups with woolly buggers and egg flies, we hooked into multiple king salmon and experienced some incredible battles on the fly rod.

In this video, you'll see hookups, landed fish, and a look at what worked during this mid-September outing on the Salmon River. It's always rewarding when salmon are actively taking flies, and this trip delivered some exciting action.
