Come take a ride with me, JD Richey, and my buddy Tim Reilly as we float a small river in one man rafts in search of wild winter steelhead.

The conditions that day weren’t great — the river was low and clear — and the weather threw a little bit of everything at us from sunshine to wind to pouring rain and hail.

We diligently fished all day and the bites were hard-earned but it was an epic trip nonetheless.

This is not a how-to video or a where to go piece. It’s instead more of a documentary, highlighting all the things that make winter steelhead fishing such and amazing quest.
