The hardest thing to do when catching catfish in a river, is locating the catfish. Fishing a good catfishing spot takes time. You have to go out on the river an explore and many time you spend all day looking and find nothing. This is one of those trips. Me, my brother, my nephew and my son kayaked about 9 miles of along a small river looking for potential fishing holes. Didn't find much but had a great time.
