Today were are float fishing in shallow water with artificial baits. When there is no live bait, you can still catch fish with products like Powerbait. You can keep them in your car or tacklebox to use anytime. Today I am using the Powerbait Honey Worms and I am catching fish. Its cold, its windy, and the fish are hard to find but I did manage to find a few. I caught a couple of big bluegill, a red ear sunfish, and even a Golden Shiner. That's three species in one trip all caught on artificial bait. Who says you need live bait to catch panfish? That just isn't realistic.
