Perfect for a bait boat over light weed

Parachute bags are a highly effective way of presenting a rig over low-growing weed, soft silt or other areas where you’re not completely sure how the rig will settle. The bag acts as a parachute as it descends, slowing the rig down and flattening the weed, leaving the hookbait presented neatly on top. Because the bag is deployed without the lead inside it, it can be made up in advance and quickly attached to the rig. Parachute bags are perfect for margin work as you can underarm them easily, or for a bait boat or baiting pole.
