In this video I go fishing for Dolly Varden trout, a species of char that is abundant in Southeast Alaska. Using my spinning rod and a krokodile spoon I fish from the rocky beach and from my trusty old canoe. It's a rainy blustery day, but that's no reason not to get out and enjoy Southeast Alaska's great scenery and fishing. Conditions are difficult for the canoe with a bit of wind and a ripping current as the tide floods in.
