What an absolutely magical place! Week 2 of our Europe trip took us to the Faroe Islands. Our first attempt to fly in found us 15 minutes from the islands and the plane was forced to turn around because it was too fogged in. The next day Iceland air was able to get us on the ground. We saw everything from sunny skies and sun rays peeking through the clouds, to torential rain fall, strong winds and 25 foot seas and everything in between. A truly moody place, yet, still so peaceful. One of our favorite trips of all time, Faroe Islands.
