Was supposed to pull up at 4am this morning when I accidentally slept through my alarm. Ended up showing up at 9am.

Within 20 minutes of arriving, I caught my current PB Steelhead at 30 inches. With the help of some friendly center pinners, I was able to land this fish (my net was too small). Later on I also caught another decent sized fish with the help of another angler who also noticed my net was too small.

As the flows went down and the bite died, I waded into the center of the river and hooked onto another decent fish. As it came off, the battery died and the flows significantly increased.

Off camera, I was stranded in the middle of the river fighting the current trying to stand up straight for about 30 minutes. After using the handle of my net as a wadding stick, I was able to gradually make it back to the bank. I took this as a sign that I should go home.
