Another day, another fish... this time after trout at Drakesbrook Weir, Western Australia… and the curse continues! Despite perfect conditions and plenty of effort, this session turned into a tough day of WA freshwater fishing, with more frustration than fish. It seems my rod’s curse has followed me, as while Redfin came to play, the trout eluded me!

Join me as I explore the challenges of fishing this popular South West WA fishing spot, targeting Redfin Perch and other species. Not every session goes to plan, but that’s the reality of fishing—and sometimes the story is just as good as the catch.
